Following the announcement of a Special Election by Governor Blackwood, Election Week has taken part this week in Los Santos.
With two days to go, the registration period officially closes on the 7th December, ready for campaigns to begin. The office of the governor is overseeing each applicant personally, ensuring only the right people have a chance at taking office on December 19th.
If you are considering the position of Mayor or City District Council, now is the time to go forward for the position.
Requirements
Mayoral Candidates:
- Minimum age of 25
- Los Santos residency of at least 5 years
- No felony convictions
- Current on all city taxes
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
City Council Candidates:
- Minimum age of 25
- Los Santos residency of at least 5 years
- No felony convictions
- Current on all city taxes
- Must declare district representation
- (Western Los Santos – Representing: Vinewood, Rodeo, Mulholland, Market, Temple, Santa Maria, Verona Beach, and Marina)
- (Eastern Los Santos – Representing: East Beach, East Los Santos, El Corona, Little Mexico, Ganton, Idlewood, Jefferson, Glen Park, Las Colinas, Los Flores, Ocean Docks, and Willowfield)
- (Central Los Santos – Representing: Pershing Square, Downtown, Commerce, Conference Center, Verdant Bluffs, and Los Santos International Airport)

- Has a relatively clean administrative record or has a significant time break since the last administrative action, evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- Displays a willingness to collaborate and cooperate with other factions.
- A good understanding of the server rules and strives to maintain a high standard of roleplay quality.
- Demonstrates some observable knowledge of Legal Factions or a strong desire to learn about Legal Factions.
- Must have at least 50 hours of in-game time with any character (not necessarily the character you are running on). ))
