Physical and Mental Health is important. Especially in Los Santos.
Everyone from Police Officers and the Fire Department to Shop Workers and the general public struggle with both their physical and mental health. Over recent months, we have seen a shortage of both Fire Department Personnel and Hospital Staff.
As a result, people have struggled to access the services they need. This has added additional pressure to local health services, with people relying on those with first aid experience. After we campaigned through our articles, developments have happened.
FD & Medical Visibility
Over recent weeks, we have seen a huge increase in the visibility of both Fire Department Staff and Hospital Staff. The amount of people in both departments has doubled and people are starting to get the help that they need. This is a positive sign of change in Los Santos.
We have also seen the recent opening of the All Saints General Hospital. Of which Nathanial Blackwood is apart of, as Chief Of Medicine.
We spoke to Nathanial about Occupational Health and what they plan to offer in Los Santos through their outpatient services.
Nathaniel Blackwood, Chief Of Medicine
“As for occupational health services – absolutely. We’ve recently begun discussions about establishing dedicated occupational health partnerships with both LSPD and the Fire Department. Given the unique physical and psychological demands these first responders face, we’re developing tailored health monitoring and preventive care programs. Our mobile medical services could be particularly valuable here, potentially providing on-site health screenings and assessments at their facilities.”
We also discussed the overall plan with All Saints General Hospital. Nathanial said;
“While we may be modest in size, our impact on the community has been significant. Since opening, we’ve focused on maximizing the efficiency of our 9-bed facility while maintaining the personalized care that has been our hallmark for over seven decades. Our emergency department, though small with 4 beds, has implemented streamlined triage protocols that allow us to serve our community effectively despite space limitations.
We’ve made particular progress in our outpatient services, expanding our weekly and bi-weekly health check-up programs. Our mobile medical services have been especially successful, bringing healthcare directly to those who might otherwise struggle to access it. This initiative perfectly aligns with Justin Saints’ original vision of accessible community healthcare.”
