In the early hours of 12th November, a van chase resulted in shots fired in Jefferson Motel.
Sergeant Parker conducted a traffic stop on a black van following reports of gunshots in Idlewood. He conducted the stop, which was going smoothly. However, another individual became involved in the stop, speaking to the driver.
Within a couple of seconds, the individual joined the driver in the van, and the van took off. Sergeant Parker gave chase to the van, which lasted over fifteen minutes. The van drove dangerously, at speed through Downtown Los Santos, Jefferson, El Corona, East Los Santos and more.
On several occasions, the driver stopped and attempted to ram the police vehicle at speed, with the goal of disabling the vehicle. However, officers expected this move from the driver and took precautions to continue on the tail of the van.
The chase concluded with two individuals running into the Jefferson Motel, armed.
Two Males Shot
Within the Jefferson Motel, two males engaged in gunfire with officers. Shots were exchanged between the officers and the individuals. This resulted in both individuals being shot by officers, several times.
What was a serious chase, involving a lot of dangerous driving and speeding, resulted in both males being shot by officers. With crime constantly on the rise, it’s not a shock to be back at the Jefferson Motel for another incident.
Both Males were armed with handguns and didn’t hesitate in firing shots towards officers.
Second Incident…
While on the scene, an officer who will remain without name at this time, responded to the call of gunshots. However, she arrived with an individual under arrest, in her police car. This individual was unwell at the time, and struggling with nausea.
At the time, the individual was sick on several occasions. It required input from the public before she decided to take the individual to the hospital.
We plan on releasing a full article on this separate incident shortly. We have also written to Cameron Briggs of the LSPD for comment.
